I've decided that I like creating and decorating small spaces, like this flattened toilet paper roll that has been turned into an "envelope" to hold a gift tag. Just flatten the roll, decorate as desired, and create a tag to fit inside. Cute... and earth-friendly, too!
Supplies:
(1) empty toilet paper tube
Stamps, inks, papers and embellishments as desired
Scissors and Adhesive
Ribbon
Directions:
1. Flatten the toilet paper tube.
2. Cover the tube with patterned paper and/or cardstock. My tube is decorated using our MyReflections Animal Crackers scrapbook papers.
3. Embellish the tube as desired. I've used our NEW Foam Die-Cuts Numbers (#Z1162). And check out the larger button... it's a clear craft button (#Z1155) backed by a circle design cut from one of the Animal Crackers paper patterns. I actually didn't glue the paper to the button (though you could, using Liquid Glass). Instead, I used a piercing tool to poke holes through the paper circle, and then attached the paper and button together with a bit of waxy flax.
4. Measure the tube opening and cut a piece of cardstock to fit inside. Trim the corners if desired to create a tag shape. Decorate as desired and add a ribbon "pull" as shown.
